Meat is approximately $8.00/lb hanging weight. Payment will be collected upon pre-order. Deposits secure your purchase, final payment upon collection. Live weight is how much the animal weighs while it is still alive, before slaughter. Hanging weight is how much the carcass weighs after slaughter, once the hide, head, blood, and internal organs are removed. Hanging weight is usually about 55–65% of live weight.
